HYATT LUAU
No Hawaiian vacation would be complete without attending an authentic luau. Here the performers are unearthing a pig that had been cooking in an underground pit for 8 hours. What a ball. From learing to Hula to learning about the Hawaiian culture and dancing hula stories that have been passed down from generation to generation to the phenomenal fire show. This is a MUST SEE. ZIPPING IN HAWAII - YOU HAVE TO DO THIS!!!
On our second day, we did a 4 hour zipline eco-tour. We did 8 zips in total. It started with a 350' zip and they increased about 50' for the first few. We enjoyed lunch and zipped some more. Our 8th and final zip was 1,000' and so much fun. The owner has invented, and patented, a hugh magnet that is used on the final zip to facilitate stopping. Apparently it works well. What a BLAST! SUN SWALLOWING FLYING DRAGON CLOUD
This is an unbelievable photo on our first night in Maui. The clouds formed a very discernible image of a Flying Dragon (see the wings on top on the right side) that appears to be eating the sun. This was pretty amazing and undenyably a sun eating dragon.
MAUI - OUR FIRST SUNSET
This is the fantastic sunset we had the opporutnity to see on our first evening on Maui. Sipping Pina Coladas and lying comfortably on the lounge chairs under the beautiful cabana. Wow!! What a sight. Pictures like this make me want to move to the West side.Hawaii Is Da Bomb
Well, we did it. We went to Maui and we actually came back. I have to admit, it was tough getting on that plane to make the 11 hours of flying time to come back to Florida from that beautiful island paradise. Look for pictures to come.
